Meeting Special Needs

We welcome participants with special needs.

We aim to provide an inclusive experience for all participants. Call in advance to discuss students needs, we will work together to make appropriate accommodations.
Youth University and Brock Dining Services Are Allergy Aware
During Residential Spring Programs at Brock University, meals will be served in the Residence Dining Hall which may accommodate up to 500 students at a time. Participants who have sensitivities or dislike certain food items will always have a selection to choose from as we offer an all-you-can-eat, buffet-style meal plan.
At Brock University we understand the challenges that children with severe allergies may face when eating in a new environment. Below you will find a special Medical Dietary Requirements Form for those participants with serious and life threatening allergies that carry epi-pens. Those participants requiring special assistance with their food choices must return this form at least 20 business days before your arrival at Brock University.

We can help with:

  • Physical limitations at camp (ropes course, program adaptations)
  • Ramps, elevators, access to all program areas
  • EA Accommodations
  • Residence accommodations available – Barrier free access
