Past and Current Grants

Youth University is able to provide vulnerable youth in the region with opportunities for social, emotional, and academic growth through the generous support of community organizations. We would like to thank our supporters and funders, past and present, who have made our Outreach programs possible.

In 2010, The Niagara Community Foundation awarded Youth University a Community Grant for the piloting of the Neighbourhood Acess Initiative in Fort Erie.

Since 2011, the Niagara Prosperity Initiative has provided grants for the continuation of this program with the DSBN at Fort Erie Public and with the NCDSB at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Niagara Falls.

This school year the Niagara Prosperity Initiative has provided a grant for the Your Future Initiative program. The program takes place during a traditional in class 100 minute literacy period where University student volunteers will engage in quick hands on activities that represent different interests and careers.
