About Us

We believe that character, curiosity and community are key to developing strong, happy youth ready to meet their potential and contribute to the world in a positive way. Look below to learn more about Youth University's definition of these 3 key values.

char·ac·ter n. A person’s unique qualities and abilities which contribute to individual and community success.

Character is about being proud of who and what you are. It is about self-awareness, self-confidence, self-worth, and self-acceptance. It's about respecting yourself, and sharing the best of what you are with others.

cu·ri·os·i·ty n. The desire to question, explore, and engage with the world.

Curiousity is about being interested in the world around you. Curious people are attracted to new people, new things, and new experiences. Put simply, curious brains are active brains, and active brains are always learning.

com·mu·ni·ty n. An accepting environment with open communication built on respect, responsibility, and participation.

When you feel a sense of community - you feel like you belong and are part of something bigger than yourself. Communities value and respect all members. Communities provide a safe environment for everyone to express their views, build awareness, and accomplish great things together.

Registration is now open for 2013 Summer Enrichment Camps.
