Opera Italia, Great Cathedrals of Europe and a Baltic Cruise - these are just some of the exotic trips that
will be offered by Brock University's Edutravel program in 2007.
On Monday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 p.m., at the Rodman Hall Arts Centre, Brock's Continuing Education
Department will hold an information session for those people interested in learning about three of next
year's Edutravel excursions. Edutravel is a program that successfully combines travel and enriched
educational opportunities.
Three of the five planned trips for 2007 will be highlighted at this event:
- a deluxe tour of northern Italy offering opera aficionados and lovers of Italy an unbeatable
combination of music, painting, architecture, history, fine people and food;
- a visit to Notre Dame in Paris, Westminster Abbey and other famous cathedrals and a magnificent
view of northern Europe;
- a cruise that explores the great cities of Scandinavia and Russia.
During the information session, there will be presentations about these trips, and opportunities to meet
fellow travellers and the expert Brock faculty host leading each excursion. Other trips planned for 2007
include Tanzania and Thailand/Hong Kong. The event is free, but participants are asked to reserve a
seat.
