Now in its fourth year, the TREN Term Abroad in New Zealand has become one of Brock University's flagship international programs. You will complete a full academic term abroad in one of the most beautiful and interesting countries in the world, spending seven weeks in residence at the University of Otago in historic St. Margaret's College (Dunedin, South Island), then embarking on a 24 day, two-island field course which explores the entire country from tip to tail. You will study environment and tourism with professors from Otago and Brock in the classroom and in the field, in the company of like-minded Otago University students. You'll experience New Zealand as students and as residents - not just as tourists. It's an intensive international opportunity that takes place during the regular northern hemisphere academic term, so there is no impact on your summer employment. There are no credit transfer issues either (all course credits are recognized by Brock University). There are also no program completion issues (with proper planning, there's no need for summer courses or make-up courses). And it's very good value for money - you will spend almost three months in New Zealand during the peak of summer, with accommodation, air and ground transportation, most meals, and Otago course fees included. For further information, contact Dr. Dave Brown - dbrown@brocku.ca / +1-905-688-5550 ext. 3293
