GENERAL INFORMATION
Welcome to Tourism Studies at Brock University- located in the Niagara Region, one of the world's most visited international tourism sites!
The Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies offers four-year programs of study leading to a Bachelor of Tourism Studies honours degree and a Bachelor of Tourism Studies.
You can choose from two concentrations: Tourism Administration or Tourism Planning and Development. You will gain expertise in: the international tourism industry, designing and planning environmentally friendly resorts, ecotourism, motivation of travelers and factors affecting tourist behaviour. You will also learn about the protection and management of heritage and historic sites, wine tourism in rural areas, managing visitor attractions and the promotion and marketing of tourism products.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Normally a minimum 70% average based on 6 OAC or 6 Grade 12 U or M courses. Required subject is OAC or Grade 12 U English.
