VolunteerFEST
What is VolunteerFEST?
VolunteerFEST is the perfect event for students, staff and faculty looking for ways to get involved and make a difference in the community. VolunteerFEST will take place on September 14th, 2012 from 10:00 am - 2 pm in Jubilee Courtyard. Come out to this free event to meet dozens of community agencies looking for volunteers!
VolunteerFEST Passport
Student Life & Community Experience wants you to get out and talk to as many agencies as you can at VolunteerFEST! As you talk to various agencies, ask the representatives you speak to if they can sign your passport for you. When you collect seven signatures and fill out your contact information on the passport, you can bring it back to our red Brock tent to be entered into the prize draw.
Volunteer Zone
While you're at VolunteerFEST, don't forget to stop by our Volunteer Zone to help work on charitable projects. Whether you have only minutes to spare or hours, you can contribute in our Volunteer Zone to help local and international agencies with simple, yet important, projects. This year our drop in Zone will be assisting Hope Furtniture Bank to fold, sort and package linens that go out to community members.
