SNAP Volunteers

SNAP is a volunteer dependent program. Our volunteers are reliable, determined and hard working. They are punctual, often showing up early to set up and staying late to take down the gym. A SNAP volunteer loves working with children and is ready for a challenge.

SNAP is a great opportunity to be a part of a community - a community that wants to promote inclusion and growth with those who have special needs. SNAP allows volunteers and students to be part of a program that not only involves Brock but the whole Niagara region. By joining this community students can meet people and gain experience in a field that interests them.

Dedicated SNAP volunteers will receive reference letters at the end of each term. These letters are given at three different levels – bronze, silver and gold. Gold reference letters are given to volunteers who show up every week and do their best to make a difference in the lives of the children who come to SNAP. These letters look great for graduate studies and teachers college applications.
