Selected publications and presentations
To an ecologist, the human species is a species like any other, except for the scale of its impact on global ecosystems, and for some special options we have available for studying it and influencing it. My students and I study the relationship between humans and other species and apply our results to more sustainable management of human-dominated ecosystems.
