Child and Youth Studies (CHYS) Society

The Child and Youth Studies Society provides a place where students come together to share ideas and enjoy one another's company. The second purpose is to engage in a number of activities designed to raise money for charitable organizations in the St. Catharines - Niagara Region. By becoming a society member, you may enhance your academic experience through interaction with other students, professors and the community at large. Your participation and enthusiasm can help build a positive identity both within the university and outside. The society is made up for four executive members listed below, and various representatives for each academic year that speak to their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year classes about current activities in the child youth studies society . We are always looking for members to volunteer at our upcoming events, even if you are not a child youth studies student and would like to get involved with any of our fundraisers email us. For more information you can contact chyssociety@busu.net or join our facebook group "BrockU CHYS Society".
