Diane P. Dupont is a Professor of Economics at Brock University, where she is the 2012 winner of the Distinguished Research and Creative Activity award. During 2006-2009 she held Brock's Chancellor's Chair in Research Excellence. Her Ph.D in Economics is from the University of British Columbia. She works in the fields of environmental and natural resource economics and has published in the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management and Environmental and Resource Economics. She has been a board member for the Canadian Water Network and is currently a board member for the North American Association of Fisheries Economists. She is also a Research Associate of the Centre for Water Economics, Environment and Policy at the Crawford School at the Australian National University. Currently, she is an Associate Editor for Water Resources Research, Water Resources & Economics, and Canadian Journal of Water Resources.
