Governance, Rules & Procedures

The Water Economics, Policy and Governance Network (WEPGN) is administered through a governance structure that is efficient, transparent and accountable. The major components of the governance structure are the following:

1. BOARD OF DIRECTORS (BOD). Responsible for overall governance of the network. It provides high-level guidance, strategy and oversight for the network and shapes the intellectual direction of network.  
2. RESEARCH MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (RMC). Manages WEPGN’s research program.   
3. PROGRAM DIRECTOR (PD). Responsible for the general management of WEPGN’s operations including directing overall scientific direction, coordination and management of the research program.

WEPGN is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Brock University and the Niagara Regional Government. For more information on this MOU, please contact Carrie Kelly at the Office of Research Services.
