Student Academic Advising

Women's and Gender Studies is for everyone. Women's and Gender Studies (WGST) courses are open to students in every faculty. Our instructors are specialists in various traditional disciplines whose research provide a gender analysis. Women's and Gender Studies Program courses explore how gender shapes institutions, ideology, language, arts and culture. This program is relevant to a variety of careers and will provide you with a unique perspective on the complex ways power relations shape our society.

If you have questions about declaring a WGST major, our program requirements or registering for courses please make an advising appointment.
