Professor Dashwood Wins an SSHRC IOF Grant

It was just recently announced that Professor Hevina Dashwood has won an SSHRC International Opportunities Fund (IOF) research grant. The grant is for a collaborative research project on the activities of Canadian mining companies in developing countries, and the ways in which they do (or do not) behave ethically in those countries. Professor Dashwood’s part in the project will see her travel to Ghana to establish collaborative links with people in academia and the NGO community involved in the Ghanaian mining sector. The duration of the grant is August 2008 to August 2009. Congratulations Professor Dashwood!
