This program is designed for those who want to have a career in either print or broadcast journalism. It is available to Popular Culture, Media and Communication, and Business Communication majors who maintain a 70% average in their courses.
About the program
Brock University and Mohawk College in Hamilton have teamed up to develop the collaborative Journalism-Print/Broadcast program. In just five years, students earn both a twenty-credit BA degree from Brock University and a diploma in Journalism from Mohawk College (something that would normally take seven years if completed in a typical fashion).
This program is designed to include both theoretical and practical knowledge that provide students with a variety of career and post-graduate opportunities. Career settings may include:
