LD Enhanced Services

After pilot projects, the provincial government determined a need to support students with learning disabilities at the post-secondary level - 2 positions were formed:

Provides individualized study strategies which may include:

• assessment of current study patterns
• organizational skills
• reading, writing, math
• time management
• studying for exams
• note taking

The study strategies are customized based on the student's psycho-ed assessment, their program of study, and the student's individual need.

Assistive Technologist

Provides a variety of technology-related services such as:

• an assessment of technology needs
• demonstration of new technologies
• software training
• bursary assistance
• technology support
• specific accommodation planning
