Smart Start 2013 (Dates TBA)
Students Making A Realistic Transition, is Brock University’s academic orientation program for all incoming first year students.
You are encouraged to take advantage of this one-day program to become familiar with many of the services provided at Brock University.

Students with Disabilities
When you register to attend Smart Start please indicate that you wish to meet with Services for Students with Disabilities by checking the appropriate disability type from the four options listed (Learning Disability, Physical Disability, Medical, Other).
By indicating that you are a student with a disability attending Smart Start, we will automatically receive confirmation that you are attending Smart Start on a particular day.
You will receive 2 confirmations of your registration:
- Smart Start confirmation
- Services for Student with Disabilities confirmation
No additional registration is required to meet with a Case Manager
During the afternoon of Smart Start, you will be given the opportunity to:
- meet with a Case Manager to discuss services
- review your accessibility needs
- discuss your assistive technology needs
- meet staff at the centre
Consult the Documentation Guidelines and submit at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled Smart Start appointment.
