Professional Development

The Service-Learning Resource Centre offers a variety of workshops and "brown bag lunch" sessions throughout the academic year open to both the Brock and local community.  These are intended for everyone to participate in - from those engaged in service-learning to those just looking to learn more.

Service-Learning Course Design Workshop

Service-learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience & strengthen communities.  Please join us in a casual conversation about your upcoming courses and how to design or strengthen the service-learning component.  Bring any questions you may have with you and leave with new ideas and resources.

Thursday, August 21

2:30-4:00pm in the Service-Learning Resource Centre (Learning Commons, 226)
