Brock to Host 2007 National Championships
ST. CATHARINES - The Brock University men's and women's rowing teams will be hosting three major events in the upcoming 2006 season with the Brock Invitational (Oct. 13), Ontario University Athletics Championships (Oct. 26-27) and the Canadian University Rowing Championships (Nov. 1-2).
The 2007 Brock Invitational and OUA Championships will be held in St. Catharines on the Royal Canadian Henley Course. The CURC National Championships will be hosted by Brock University in Welland.

Welcome to Brock Rowing 2007-8
Welcome to Brock Rowing. We are looking forward to another good year and a busy year as we are hosting three regattas this fall.
The season will start with a training camp beginning Saturday September 1st till Wednesday September 6th. The first week will include rowing on the water in various combinations and boats as well as erg and weight testing. The first session will be at the boathouse on Henley Island at 8:00am on the Saturday for varsity athletes. For athletes that are to be living in residence, the residences won't open till the Monday September 3rd we will try to find billets for the first two nights.
Anyone interested in rowing that has never competed in rowing is welcome to tryout for the novice team. Information meeting for novice rowing will be held September 5th at 5:00pm in the Leo LeBlanc Rowing Centre located downstairs in the Walker Complex.
We will attend all the regattas on the posted schedule but everyone may not attend all of them. Depending on circumstances we may attend other regattas. For away regattas Brock will provide transportation and accommodation if necessary and a meal allowance.
We will wrap up the fall season with our annual rowing banquet on November 10th.
For students that have never raced in rowing they are welcome to try out for the Novice Rowing Team. There will be an information meeting at 5:00pm on Wednesday September 6th.
