This course is dedicated to the love of watercolour painting. During week one, we will explore the basics required for successful watercolour painting. After learning traditional methods we will experiment with watercolours mixing many techniques while examining the importance of composition, value and colour. Explore a variety of painting styles and brushwork as you develop your skills. Learn to add interest and enhance your work with drawing materials like pen & ink and pastels. In the final classes you will receive one-on-one instruction as you work towards a larger finished piece inspired by a famous art work or a personal photograph.
