Course Title History of Advertising
Description Historical research into the development of Canadian advertising practices in an international context. Evaluation of the cultural and economic impact of advertising on the mass media and the role of advertising in the formation of a consumer culture.
Course Format Seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions open to PCUL, BCMN, COMM and MCMN majors with approval to year 4 (honours) or permission of the instructor.
