Course Title	Game Discourses and Criticism
Description	Games as cultural artifacts that inspire a hybrid and multidisciplinary discourse. Analysis of larger context of humanities around games through game criticism. Connection of cultural studies with extant game critique, and of theoretical literature on game studies and critical analysis using new media tools.
Course Format	Seminar, lab, 4 hours per week.
Restrictions	open to IASC (single or combined) majors until date specified in Registration guide.
Prerequisite(s)	IASC 1F00 (minimum 60 per cent) or permission of instructor.
