Course Title	Canadian Popular Culture
Description	Survey of the media in Canada. Studies in the popular arts, referencing the ways that institutions (CBC, NFB) and selected artists identify and express a Canadian cultural imagination.
Course Format	Lectures, seminar, lab, 4 hours per week.
Restrictions	open to FILM (single or combined), BCMN, COMM, MCMN and PCUL majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to FILM (single or combined), BCMN, COMM, MCMN, PCUL, GHUM, SOSC majors and PCUL minors until date specified in Registration guide.
