Description	Fundamentals of dramatic criticism. Study of selected dramatic texts from ancient Greece to the present emphasizing genre, theatrical and literary conventions and historical context.
Course Format	Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Corequisites	for Dramatic Arts majors: DART 1F95, 1P97 and 1P99.
