Course Title	Childhood, Youth and Society
Description	Historical, cross-cultural and sociological perspectives on the relationship between childhood, youth and society. Topics include children and youth in schools, communities, popular culture and state policy.
Course Format	Lectures, seminar/lab, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions	open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior), CHLH majors and CHYS minors until date specified in Registration guide.
Prerequisite(s)	CHYS 1F90.
Notes	students may not concurrently register in SOCI 2P38. Requests for placement on waitlist or consideration for an override are made via the Override/Waitlist Request link at brocku.ca/childandyouthstudies.
Exclusions	Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SOCI 2P38.
