Course Title Introduction to Child and Youth Studies
Description Theories, methods and issues involved in studying children and youth from a multidisciplinary perspective. Topics may include the history of childhood, family life, peer relations and children and youth with special needs.
Course Format Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions open to students admitted to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior), CHLH, BA (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BA Integrated Studies (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BSc (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BSc Integrated Studies (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) and CHYS minors until date specified in Registration guide.
