Course Title	Principles of Human Physiology
Description	Molecular, cellular, tissue and organ physiology. Topics include cell structure and function, cell transport processes, signal transduction, nerve and muscle tissue, and metabolism.
Course Format	Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions	open to BMED, CHLH and HLSC, MSCI majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BMED, CHLH, CHSC, HLSC, MSCI and PHTH majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 4.0 overall credits.
Prerequisite(s)	BIOL 1F90.
Notes	CHEM 1F92 or one 12U Chemistry credit is also strongly recommended. Provides foundation for students seeking Cardiac Rehabilitation Certification.
Exclusions	Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PEKN 2P09.
