Course Title	Protein and Nucleic Acid Chemistry
Description	Chemistry and structure of nucleic acids, proteins and carbohydrates. Selected aspects of chemical synthesis and biosynthesis, including mechanisms of protein folding, post-translational modification, targeting, sequencing, detection techniques and biochemical/medical applications of these molecules.
Course Format	Lectures, lab, 6 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s)	CHEM 2P21.
Exclusions	Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in BTEC (CHEM) 3P63.
