The ceremony will be held in the Ian Beddis gymnasium, Walker Complex. Please follow the signs on campus.
Upon arrival, please proceed to the Ian Beddis gymnasium in the Walker complex and be seated. Ushers (in red robes) will be there to direct you and answer your questions.
Graduands begin marching in 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony, so If you wish to see your graduand march in, you must be seated by:
930 a.m. if you are attending the morning ceremony
130 p.m. if you are attending the afternoon ceremony
Guests are not permitted to enter the gymnasium during the student and faculty processions.
No. Tickets are not required but seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating consist of chairs with backs. Bleachers are also available for latecomers.
The Convocation ceremony is approximately two hours long.
Will there be flowers, rings, Brock memorabilia, diploma frames and gifts available on-site at Convocation?
You have enough on your mind on grad day, don't stress-out with last minute details. The Brock Campus Store will be set up in the Walker Complex for Convocation to help you with all your convocation needs. Pre-order your Diploma frames and jump to the front of the line to pick them up after the ceremony. Look for Brock giftware, flowers, official Brock jewelers and last minute items like batteries and memory cards for your convenience. You’ve worked hard for this day, and we want to help you enjoy it!
Special Assistance for Guests with Disabilities
Special assistance seating is available for each person requiring assistance plus one additional guest only. All other guests must sit in the general seating area. Please contact Diana Panter at 905 688 5550, x3429 or email convocation@brocku.ca to make formal arrangements.
Parking is free for the ceremonies; please follow the signs. For directions to the campus, please visit brocku.ca/directions. Special Needs parking is available in all lots. Please check our website prior to your arrival for any updates regarding construction on campus.

Will there be a celebration following the ceremony?
Yes, immediately following the ceremony, there will be a celebration on the grounds behind the Walker Complex. Everyone is invited and there is no charge!
