Intro to Competitive Swimming

The Brock pool will be closed April 1st - August, 2013 for maintenance. First Aid/CPR - Courses will be offered over the Spring & Summer. Fall Swim Registration: Saturday, August 16th, 9am-12nn. 

 

Olympic Way

Young people ages 7-12 are invited to enter the exciting world of competitive swimming. Experienced coaches present the techniques of the sport—the four competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle), racing starts and turns—in combination with an introductory fitness program.

Prerequisites: Swimmer 5, 7-12 years.

 

Teen Competitive Skills

A recreational training program for teens interested in improving their fitness or competitive swimming skills. Emphasis is on skill development in conjunction with a fitness program. Perfect for the high school athlete searching for skill improvement, swimming basics for triathlon, or simply looking for a fitness activity.

Prerequisite: Swimmer 6, age 13; Olympic Way, high school or summer swim team experience or equivalent background is recommended.

Ready to move beyond the introductory programs? Join our full-year competitive team where swimmers continue to develop in the areas of fitness, stroke refinements, team building, and athleticism, while competiting at local swim meet throughout the region.
