Leadership & First Aid

The Brock pool will be closed April 1st - August, 2013 for maintenance. First Aid/CPR - Courses will be offered over the Spring & Summer. Fall Swim Registration: Saturday, August 16th, 9am-12nn. 

Brock University has one of the largest lifesaving programs in all of Ontario. A broad range of first aid, leadership and instructional courses are offered to meet the needs of all candidates.

Lifesaving Society Affiliate Recognition Awards

The Lifesaving Society recognizes Affiliate Members in Ontario who deliver the Society’s training programs, promote Water Smart® public education, and those who raise funds in support of the Society's drowning prevention mission.

In March 2012, Brock received the following awards:

• ARNOLD H. MORPHY CUP: Awarded to a single facility with the largest lifesaving program.
• KIRK A.W.WIPPER CUP: Awarded to a university or college with the largest lifesaving program.
• JOHN E. MCCUTCHEON BOWL: Awarded to a single facility with the largest first aid program.
