Gifts by Residents of the United States
Brock University Alumni
Brock University alumni and their families (family members are defined as: spouses, children, grandchildren parents and siblings) may make donations directly to Brock University and use the Brock University charitable receipt for their U.S. income tax returns under the Canada-United States Income Tax Convention.
Non-Alumni
American citizens (or residents) who are not alumni or related to alumni of Brock University, as well as corporations, foundations, estates and trusts, requiring a U.S. tax receipt can contribute to the university through the Friends of Brock University, Inc. Established in 1990 to facilitate donations, Friends of Brock is a not-for-profit organization recognized under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(3).

When friends of the University pass away, gifts can be directed to Brock University, designated for an award or named memorial fund, and notice placed in the obituary. Or, when friends of the University celebrate important life occasions like weddings or retirements, or you would like to honour a favorite professor or friend, gifts can be directed to the University "in tribute". Notice of gifts is sent to the honoured person or bereaved family members.
