Brock is full of extraordinary people. And our learning environment has a profound effect on their ability to shine. Developing the full potential of both sides of the brain in our present and future students depends on our ability to provide the very best learning environments equipped with the latest technologies.
But Brock’s exceptional growth and success means we’ve simply outgrown our current facilities, and there is a pressing need for more teaching space and further research capabilities.
Funding new teaching and research facilities is a key initiative of the Campaign for a Bold New Brock. Your support will help to leverage federal and provincial government investments in building projects worth more than $266 million, helping meet our current needs and future growth.
In order to address the increased demand and urgent need for university education, Brock is planning for 14.4 per cent increase in our student population in the next five years.
Our planned construction projects will not only enrich the learning experience for our current students, they will help us attract more leading-edge faculty to a world-class research and discovery centre for the benefit of the broader community.
The physical expansion consists of the following:
1. The Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex
2. Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts
3. A new Faculty of Business building
4. A Faculty of Education building extension
5. International Centre
6. Brock's Niagara Athletic Playing Field
