It is the student’s responsibility to register a test with SSWD at least 7 days prior to the test (deadlines for December and April exams are posted).
Instructors must contact SSWD at ex. 4028 at the start of term to make arrangements when students will not be given at least 7 days notice of tests or quizzes.
SSWD must receive test scripts at least 3 days prior to the test, including other test materials, such as CDs, slides, and videos). Please forward these to the SSWD Exam Centre, ST411 (we are closed between noon – 1 pm). MS Word is our preferred format.
The test scripts must indicate the length of the test (e.g. 1 hour), the scheduled time and date of the test (e.g. October 23, 2009 at 7 pm), and extra materials students are permitted (e.g. calculator). Instructors should also indicate where they can be reached while their student is writing with SSWD.
Instructors may pick up completed tests during regular office hours at the SSWD Exam Centre ST 411. Any tests not picked up by the instructor within 3 days will be returned through interoffice mail.
If December/April exams are submitted to the print shop by the deadline for printing, SSWD will obtain the exam script from the print shop. If not, instructors must submit the exam script to SSWD Exam Centre (ST 411) one week prior to the exam (we are closed between noon – 1 pm).
Instructors or T.A.s are encouraged to visit their students in the SSWD Exam Centre during the exam to answer questions.
