Ning Wang

Ning Wang (B.A., M.A., Peking University; Ph.D., UBC) joined the History Department in 2007, and teaches East Asian history. His research interests are on modern China, especially Chinese intellectuals, foreign-trained Chinese students, border banishment, as well as Chinese social history. He is currently working on a manuscript study of the banished intellectuals in the post-1957 period.
