The SCM is one of the oldest University student groups in existence. It's roots go back to Europe in the late 1800's and it was established in Canada in 1923. The SCM unites spirituality with social, economic, and environmental justice. It is both an activist group and a community of reflection. The SCM is multi-religious and open to anyone including those of no religion.
The SCM meets with the Ecumenical Chaplain over lunch on Thursdays
(From noon to 1 P.M. in Decew R217)
