Welcome to Campus Security Services. My name is Amanda Anderson. I currently hold the rank of a Special Constable at Brock University.
As a Special Constable I am granted enhanced authority on campus through the Police Services Board. It is my duty to exercise Police powers when dealing with identified pieces of legislation, such as: the Criminal Code of Canada, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Highway Traffic Act, Liquor Licence Act, Mental Health Act, Trespass to Property Act, and the Safe Streets Act.
I graduated from Niagara College in June 2005 and received my Police Foundations Diploma. After graduation I worked for the Niagara Parks Police Service as a Provincial Offences Officer. It was my duty to effectively patrol the Niagara Parkway monitoring and upholding public safety while responding to emergency type situations. In September 2005 I received my Advanced Protective Services Certificate from Algonquin College while working for Brock University Campus Security Services.
In 2006 I joined Brock Campus Security Services as a Special Constable. Brock University Campus Security Services is dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment for students, staff, faculty and visitors. This can be accomplished by encouraging community involvement and working together to support the academic mission of the University.
