Welcome to the Campus Security Services website of the Brock University community. My name is John Trevisonn.
I was born, raised, and have lived my entire life in the City of Port Colborne .
I've been married to my wife Lynn for the past 26 years. We have three children. The eldest attends university while the younger ones are in secondary school.
I retired from the Niagara Regional Police Service in August of 2005 after 32 and a half years of service.
My police career was very diversified working in a numerous areas including uniform, Detective Services, Intelligence Office, Support Services, Marine Unit, Labour Dispute Liaison, Community Services and Administration.
The last three years of my career were spent as the Community Liaison Officer in Port Colborne . My primary responsibilities were School and Community Liaison. My forte has always been community-based policing.
I started with Brock Campus Security Services in August 2005 as an Inspector. My duties are to assist and supervise the new Special Constables we have and members of the Corp of Commissionaires, but more importantly, expand on a community-based security approach where all facility, staff and students work together to reduce crime within our community.
Feel free to contact me anytime with concerns or questions you might have. Hopefully I can be of assistance to you, whatever your needs may be.
