Tribute To Teaching 2009: December 4th

Tribute to Teaching, held annually at the end of term, celebrates Brock’s teaching award recipients and highlights exemplary teaching through a showcase of talks and presentations on scholarship of teaching projects. This year we highlight a public address from the recipient of the 2008 Brock University Award for Distinguished Teaching, Prof. John McNamara, who will speak on “Motivating students to learn: A tough sell in a busy world”. We will also participate in round table discussions facilitated by Brock’s Chancellor’s Chairs in Teaching Excellence Joe Engemann, Zopito Marini, Murray Wickett and John McNamara. All members of the Brock University community are welcome to join us on December 4^th, 3:30 pm, at Alphie's Trough to pay tribute to inspiring teachers.
