Brock University is dedicated to maintaining a malware-free environment in all of its labs, offices, and classrooms. To ensure this, Brock has trusted the services of McAfee to protect machines on the campus from malware. Users will need to maintain their own personal / home computers.
Faculty/Staff Office Computers
Brock University supports the corporate editions of McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + AntiSpyware Enterprise (for Windows and Macintosh) on campus. The McAfee antivirus system includes the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator tool which allows ITS to distribute virus definitions (DATs) and product upgrades as they become available as well as receive alerts for outbreaks on campus.
McAfee VirusScan Enterprise cannot be installed on a home / personal computer.

Security Updates
All computers on the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator system should receive updates automatically as they become available. Computers not running the McAfee ePolicy agent may schedule downloads on a regular basis. Virus definitions (DATs) and scan engines may be manually downloaded for McAfee VirusScan Enterprise from:
