The Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President Student Services is responsible for developing and integrating enrolment and retention strategies, as well as services and programs to support a high quality of student life and improve students’ success in their academic experiences.
Kim Meade, who joined Brock in 2003, provides leadership to the Registrar’s Office; Recruitment and Liaison Services; Career Services; Student Development Centre; Accessibility Planning; Residence Life; Student Awards and Financial Aid; Health Services; Brock International; Student and Community Outreach; ESL Services; International Recruitment; International Services; and Campus Ministries.
Some of the initiatives implemented through collaboration with faculty, staff and students include community outreach, mentorship, first generation support, service learning and university-college pathways to education. Meade works with the student services team to promote good citizenship, diversity, inclusiveness and accessibility.
Before joining Brock, she was director of Enrolment Management at Acadia University in Wolfville, NS. Prior to that, she worked with Canada World Youth in Pakistan and Malawi, and as Regional Development Specialist for the Department of Rural and Economic Development in Newfoundland.
Meade completed her MA in 1990 at Acadia University.
