Recreation on Campus

image/jpeg icon<p>Groups can reserve gymnasiums like the Bob Davis gym for recreation during their conference.&nbsp; Equipment for sports can be made available to your group from the central equipment room.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Ian Beddis Gymnasium has up to 6 courts that can be divided up into private spaces.&nbsp;</p> [1]

With many cardio machines and weight machines, it is a great way to relax after a long day.&nbsp; Fitness and spin classes are available daily.&nbsp; Individual guests can purchase these services at the Walker Complex Welcome Desk.</p> [2]
image/jpeg icon<p>Looking for youth or children to run off some energy?&nbsp; Looking for some team-building space?&nbsp; There are three soccer and rugby fields on campus and other baseball diamonds available for group bookings.</p> [3]
image/jpeg icon<p>The Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre has public swim times as well as private bookings available.&nbsp; Individual guests can purchase a swim pass at the Walker Complex Welcome Desk.&nbsp; The capacity of the pool is 500 guests to ensure the safety of our guests.&nbsp; The 50-metre pool can be customized for individual or a groups' needs.&nbsp; It is equipped with a hydraulic floor which raises and lowers to the depth in the shallow end from zero to 1.22 meters.&nbsp; This is an added advantage for pre-schoolers who wish to use shallower waters.&nbsp; Deep water is available with diving boards and Tarzan rope.&nbsp; Highly certified and experienced lifeguards are on duty. &nbsp;Inquire about policies for supervision of younger children.&nbsp; A family change room and men's and women's showers are adjacent to the pool.</p> [4]
image/jpeg icon<p>&nbsp;The Bruce Trail systems as well as a wide variety of other hiking and mountain biking trails are on campus.&nbsp; Find Alphie's Trough and walk down the escarptment.&nbsp; The densely forested area is a great idea to integrate with youth groups visiting the campus and needing to provide budget-friendly activities.</p> [5]
