Promotion and Tenure

Under the terms of Article 21 of the Collective Agreement between Brock University and the Brock University Faculty Association (1 July 2011 to 30 June 2014), tenure and/or promotion involves three stages:

1. consideration and recommendation by the home Department/Centre of the candidate;
2. consideration and recommendation by a Committee on Tenure and Promotion in the home Faculty of the candidate; and
3. consideration and decision by the Provost and Vice-President, Academic
