The Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre at Brock University is the largest swimming facility in the Niagara Region. Our 50 metre Olympic-size pool provides room for numerous water activities to take place at the same time. There are 1 metre and 3 metre diving boards, a 5 metre platform and a Tarzan rope (maximum weight capacity 200 lbs) to keep the most energetic entertained during fun swim times. The hydraulic adjustable-depth floor in the shallow end can turn the pool from a lap pool, for swimming competitions, into a shallow wading pool for parents and tots. Enjoy the whirlpool spa and saunas as well!
The 1m and 3m diving boards and 5m platform are open at this time. Enjoy the Tarzan rope and an abundance of open space! Deep water and shallow areas are often available where the shallowest depth is set at two feet deep. The whirlpool is available to those age 15 and older.
A dedicated time for those OVER the age of 15 to swim lengths. Diving boards and Tarzan rope are not open at this time. Youth under age 15 may swim if accompanied by an adult (one to one ratio).
