Aboriginal Education

The Tecumseh Centre for Aboriginal Research and Education [1]offers 2 degree programs and 2 certificate programs, as well as Aboriginal Studies courses.

  • Bachelor of Education in Aboriginal Adult Education [2]
  • Bachelor of Education Primary/Junior (Aboriginal) [3]
  • Certificate in Aboriginal Adult Education [4]
  • Gidayaamin Aboriginal Women's Certificate Program [5]
  • Aboriginal Studies [6] courses may be taken for credit as electives in any degree program. Language courses in Mohawk satisfy the Language Requirement for Humanities majors.

Our programs incorporate Aboriginal learning preferences and rely on a wide reflection of Aboriginal cultures and traditions. Most are offered in a facilitated learning cohort model, face to face in numerous locations across the province. We are happy to consult with communities about the possibility of offering one of our programs at your local venue.

Click on the links above or use the links in the left hand menu to find out more information about our programs.
