Yang Defends Chemistry Thesis

The Department of Chemistry announces the MSc thesis defence of Ms. Lijing (Viola) Yang.  Her thesis defence takes place in WH147 at 9:30 pm, Monday, April 22^nd, 2013. Her thesis is titled, (a) BODIPY as a versatile fluorophore (b) Synthesis of PNAs via the Staudinger reaction.  Her examination committee members are: Dr. Rick Cheel, Chair; Dr. Maria de Rosa (Carleton University) External Examiner; Dr. Tony Yan, Supervisor; Dr. Costa Metallinos and Dr. Jeffrey Atkinson.
