On Monday, October 22, senior-level academic administrators from Ludong University, China, visited Brock to learn about the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) and Alumni Relations Office, and to explore possible areas for collaboration.
Ludong University founded its own School of Viticulture in 2011 and the delegates expressed an interest in collaborating with and receiving guidance from Brock’s CCOVI after touring the facilities and labs.

A Ludong University delegation visited the Confucius Institute at Brock on July 4, 2011 to discuss possible areas of collaboration, including student, faculty and scholar exchange programs.
During both the 2011 and 2012 visits, Ludong University delegates extended invitations to Brock administration and faculty members to visit Ludong University in the future. Brock does not have a formal agreement with Ludong University.
