The Brock community is reminded to account for the following activities taking place next week as part of back-to-school and orientation week events, which may cause delays and disruptions to normal traffic flows on campus.
* Residence move-in, Monday Sept. 3
Labour Day Monday is residence move-in day at Brock for more than 2,300 students. Parking will not be permitted in any of the lots near residence buildings on this day. If you plan to come to Brock on Monday there will be delays getting to and from campus, and slow-moving lineups of vehicles on several University roadways. The busiest times will be between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* O-week Vendor and Club Fair, Tuesday Sept. 4 and Wednesday Sept. 5
This event once again takes place in the field outside the Schmon Tower. In order to facilitate the two-day event, the “U” roadway in front of the Tower will be closed to all traffic from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on both days. Public transit pick-up and drop-off stops will be relocated to the southern edge of the field. Road access to the front of the Tower will be unavailable during these times, except for special circumstances.
* University Rd. in front of Isaac’s Patio from Meter Rd. to Isaac Brock Blvd. East will be closed next week on the following dates and times:
