Natural Science Camp
Against a setting of the Niagara Escarpment (A world biosphere reserve) our Natural Science Camp is designed to give students field and lab experiences. This program creats an understanding of the science behind many of our global issues today.
Concepts Taught in:
- Ecology
- Biology
- Environmental science
Your students will:
- Test a variety of soils
- Construct a solar oven
- Build and test their very own water filters
- Identify rocks through mineral testing
- Learn weather patterns
- See how erosion formed the Niagara escarpment
- And if they are lucky, see one of our local hawks catch a thermal off the escarpment cliffs!
- Recreation may include a campfire and an opportunity to navigate our amazing race team adventure.
