Driven by its mission, the Goodman School of Business has designed an Assurance of Learning Program to measure student learning to further the continuous improvement of our curricula and its management. The School of Business commits to the highest quality education for students to prepare them for successful careers in business.
To do this Goodman has identified key learning goals, or skills, that contribute to student’s success after graduation. It regularly assesses these goals in its academic programs to determine how successfully the programs are accomplishing its mission. This provides a platform for us to build on our strengths and focus on improvements that positively impact student learning opportunities and raise the quality of education our student receive.
Managed by the Learning Assurance Faculty Committee, the Assurance of Learning program consists of both direct and indirect assessment measures and is used to inform faculty, facilitate academic curriculum reviews, and improve learning outcomes resulting in higher quality education for all Goodman students.
